Web Design/development – Exquisite Women
Business Cards – The Low Price Lender
Logo design and double-sided business card layout for The Low Price Lender. Photo by the talented Marcel Walker.
Web Design – SocialToo
I was asked to redesign the homepage for Jesse Stay’s SocialToo site. Jesse is a leader in the social marketing industry so it was a great honor to be asked to work with him. We’re still working on the sub pages… I’ll post more as we complete them. To view the entire website click here.
Web Development – No Brainer Discounts
I have been working for No Brainer Discounts for several months now. Projects have included logo design, web design, web development, ad creation, media kit layout and design, and many other little miscellaneos projects. This is such a great concept… I can’t wait to see it grow! To view the entire website click here.
Park City Jazz Festival Program
I am so lucky to be able to work with the Park City Jazz Foundation every year. I design their ads, tickets, brochures, banners, web ads and programs. This is the program for the 2009 Park City Jazz Festival. The trumpet player on the front cover was drawn by the talented Michael Schwabb. I did the page layouts and several of the ads within the program.
Magazine Layout
Last year, as Creative Director for TodaysMama, I was charged with doing the design and layout for the BayAreaMama Magazine. It is a project I am very proud of. I love working on magazines and I’m happy to share this one with you! To view the entire magazine click here.
Twitter Backgrounds
I love working with Startup Princess. The projects get to be so feminine and beautiful. Take this for instance… their Twitter background… I love the swirls and dots, and the colors are great too. If you want to see my Twitter background you can find it here @Persnicketyest.
It’s a good cause
The other day I got a call from a new client… a non-profit cancer-support group. They were referred to me by Startup Princess… thanks Kelly
.
Anyway, this organization was looking for someone to give their existing logo some polish and finesse. We used their existing image and colors, and just played with the positioning and the fonts. It’s amazing what a few small tweaks can do to a logo.
Christmas Card Time
I know it’s barely October, but trust me, it’s time to start designing your Christmas cards if you want something truly unique this year. I just took mine to the printers… can’t wait to get them back next week. I did a super simple design, incorporating my logo colors and my favorite orange star… not your traditional holiday card, but perfect for me! If you want me to whip something up for you or your business give me a holler.
This is the story of Brea…
I wrote and illustrated a book for my sweet little girl, Brea. I used a series of photos taken by the talented Marcel Walker as inspiration. Thanks Marcel for capturing the magic and wonder I see in her eyes. I haven’t had the book printed and bound yet, but I can’t wait to hold it in my hot little hands. If you want to see the book better just click on the thumbnail and you can view it full screen. I hope you enjoy it. I know I found a new passion creating it. Let me know if you need one for your own someone special.
